Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA is home to a Team East affiliate coached by Chris Carpenter. Coach Carpenter is the regional director for USA Team East.
Chris Carpenter is the Director of Golf at Nashawtuc Country Club in historic Concord, MA and serves as the Northeast Region Coordinator of the USA Junior National Golf Program. In 2011, Mr. Carpenter founded Carpenter Golf, Inc. and operates Boston’s premier indoor winter training center.
Throughout his 22-year career as a golf professional, Mr. Carpenter has been a driving force behind junior golf programming. He consistently develops and delivers opportunities to inspire junior participation in golf through instruction, innovative programming, consulting, and speaking opportunities. Drawing heavily on his personal experiences as a junior and collegiate golfer, as well as his current role as a parent, Carpenter consistently highlights the lifelong benefits of junior golf involvement.
Mr. Carpenter continues to serve as the Chairman of the New England PGA Junior Golf Committee (2010-2013) where he has led successful efforts to increase facility participation and enhance the overall competitive experience for NEPGA Junior Tour participants. Mr. Carpenter was recognized with the PGA’s Junior Golf Leadership Award in New England (2011) and North Texas (2003 & 2005). He is one of an elite few PGA Professionals to have received this prestigious award from multiple PGA Sections.
Mr. Carpenter is a firm believer in developing strong fundamental golf skills and encourages junior golfers to develop the Attitude, Respect (For Self & Others) & Training habits that allow for success on and off the course. Carpenter is a Callaway Golf Elite Staff Member and holds the following certifications: PGA A-1, TPI Junior Coach II, K-Vest TPI 3D, SAM Putt Lab. He also serves as an advisor for Ubersense and MembersFirst.
Chris, his wife Shandy, and their daughters Kate and Lizzy live in Bolton, Massachusetts.
